According to the bio of Samuel's father Francis in THE GREAT MIGRATION BEGINS (Ancestry) includes this "...John Plummer suggests on circumstantial grounds that Ruth, wife of William Sawyer of Newbury, was a daughter of Francis. But the settlement of the estate the immigrant indicates that he was survived by two sons and a daughter - who are already accounted for.
