This Sunday, we travel to the Davis cemetery near the Fontana to join with other relatives in decorating the graves. Last year, we had Sawyers, Crisps, Stillwells, and Breedloves there. Also, the Fontana Dam draw down begins August 1st. It is the 5 year draw down for dam inspection and the lowest water will be about Thanksgiving time for two weeks. The water is so cold the houses and buildings are visible and well preserved under the water. If you are thinking of visiting this area, this year is the time to go.
