Just scanned and sent you some info, probably you already have regarding John and Priscilla McPherson Sawyer, eastern N. C. and the relationship to Capt. William Sawyer. This John Sawyer died ab.t 1808. The Halstead lineages go back to Henry Halstead. Evidently the wife of Capt. Wm. Sawyer and supposedly wife was Letitia Wilkins which goes back to Halstead. This is unresearched by myself as I have not gotten ahead in time researching this far as yet.
