I'm trying to fine any info. on my great grandmother Adelia or (Delia) Sawyer born Jan. 1849 in Elizabeth City, N.C. Died Aug. l934 in Elizabeth City, N.C. She was married to Joseph Benson Cooper. He was born about 1845 in South Mills, N.C. and died Nov. 23, 1898 in ( I'm told Raliegh State Prison. Trying to trace from what country they came from or any info. Thanks for any response.
