    2. My records show Fred Morse Sawyer, who I believe was my ggrandfather, was married to Agnes Doughty. My grandfather, Ralph Doughty Sawyer b. 10/21/1885 in Amesbury, MA (per SS application) was married to my grandmother, Roselda Lafreniere/Laferriere/Lafournier b. 11/01/1886 in Willimantic, Connecticut. Two children, Fred b. ? and Harry Alva (my father) b. 1/26/1912 in Lowell, MA. Marriage was short-lived and am unaware of future marriage(s) of Ralph Doughty Sawyer, but Roselda Sawyer remarried to Telesphore Harnois. Also, I show a Burton Sawyer b. 1867, son of Ephraim, as being born in Merrimac, MA which is not far from Amesbury. Any additional info on this line would be most welcome.

    3. Hello; Do you have access to Eleanor Grace Sawyer's, "Sawyer Families of New England 1636 - 1900?" In this excellent source, the Fred Morse line is traced back in time to one of the three brothers who came to America together in1643. If you do not have access I can give you an outline of the lineage of Fred Morse Sawyer. http://msnhomepages.talkcity.com/NonProfitBlvd/rufret/TS1616.htm Fred ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 24, 2000 5:01 PM Subject: [SAWYER](8) Ephraim&Abbie Sawyer of MA > My records show Fred Morse Sawyer, who I believe was my ggrandfather, was > married to Agnes Doughty.
