Greetings! New to the list, but thought I'd jump right in. Trying to find infomation an elderly aunt's mother, who disappeared when she was a young child... Looking for IRENE GERTRUDE SAWYER, b. February 1901 (possibly 1900) in Fall River, MA, to GEORGE FREDERICK SAWYER and his wife MARY LOUISE HUARD. Irene's sister, DORA, was b. June 18, 1903. The family lived at 289 Eagle Street, Fall River, MA. Irene m. Percy C. Patten on November 20, 1921. As the story goes, Irene ran off to New York City with a married policeman, leaving behind her two daughters. No one in the family ever heard from her again.
