I am searching for the family line of Florence Sarah Sawyer who was born in 1862 in Jefferson County or Township, Iowa. I only know that her father was Eli Sawyer. Mother's name is also unknown. I have no other info. to connect her to a Sawyer line. I do know there was an Eli Sawyer who enlisted in the Union Army from Madison Township, Iowa in 1862. He was wounded and discharged in Missouri the following year. Florence married a Jefferson Quertermous in Clark County, Missouri in 1880. Florence died around 1939 in Kiowa, Kansas. During their marriage, she and Jefferson lived in Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas. If anyone can help me with a lead, please e-mail to [email protected] Thank you
