My grandfather, Francis Hubert" Frank" Laessig born 30 March 1873 married Mary K. Sawyer born 22 Oct. 1873. I believe her family came from Canada. She died 13 Aug. 1907. Mary was the daughter of Joseph Sawyer of the Webertown settlement north of what today is Stratford, Marathon County, WI. I continue to search for additional information on this branch of Sawyers.
