Sawyer, 77, of Stratford, who died at a Wausau hospital Sunday morning, where held Wednesday morning at St. Jos. Catholic Church, with the Rev. A. Fischer officiating and burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Sawyer was born December 8, 1869 at Appleton and had lived in Stratford the past 72 years. He was a mill worker for the R. Connor Company until 18 years ago. Surviving are two brothers, Fred Sawyer of the town of Rib Mountain and Clarence Sawyer of Tomahawk, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Paszek of King.
