Hello! John and Priscilla Sawyer of Edgefield County, SC had a son named Elkanah Sawyer who was listed on the 1800 Edgefield County, SC census. Elkanah later moved to Alabama and was listed on the 1820 Conecuh County, AL census. Since, Conecuh County is a burned county, does any one on the list know who Elkanah's children were? Also do you know who they married? Supposedly, a daughter named Polly married a Brooks. I would especially like to find out any information on this sibling. Thanks for any help you can offer.
