    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Sawyer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/kRFBAIB/1453.2.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, Tom! Thanks for your message. I'll check out what data, if any, exists online for the locations of my Sawyer gravesites. In the meantime, if you happen to stumble across the following, I'd love to hear about it: I'm assuming my "first" (or is it last?) Sawyer, Edward (b. 1767 in Westbrook, d. abt. 1806), is buried somewhere around the town where his children were born: Topsham. It is possible, though, that he is buried in Falmouth. His wife was Abigail, nee Curtis. His father, Ezekiel (b. 1742 in Falmouth, d. 1828 in Portland), could also be in Falmouth. His wife was Sarah, nee Hinkley. Ezekiel's father, Edward (b. 1709 in Gloucester, MA, d. aft. 1757, most likely in Falmouth), is a better candidate. His wife was Abigail, nee Pitman. Edward's father, Isaac (b. 1684 in Gloucester, MA, d. 1772 in Falmouth) is almost certainly buried there. His wife was Martha, nee Haskell. Apparently Isaac was an original founder of the 1st Parish Church on Falmouth Neck in 1727. Best, David
