Hello: Am searching for information on William G. Sawyer born circa 1810 in Pasquotank Co. NC. I believe he may have been the son of Enoch Sawyer but don't know his mother. His siblings may have been Anne Elizabeth and Frederick Sawyer. William moved to Weakley Co. TN about 1830 and then to Wood Co. TX before 1850. Thank you. Frederick Arthur Sawyer b 1901 in MN, to CA. he died Sacramento, CA 6 Jan 1936, was cremated in Stockton, CA 8 Jan 1936. According to the Stockton obituary his mother, Mrs. Fred B Sawyer, Mary, Nellie, Bert Sawyer were living in Swift Current, Canada. There is an Albert Sawyer buried in Swift Current, 1942, any help appreciated...Ellen

Each one was taken by a professional photographer and each is on heavy cardstock, as was typical during that time period. Each picture is in excellent condition and each man pictured is dressed in a suit, with both a beard and a mustache. Dr. Sidney Sawyer's picture was taken in NYC, NY, in approx. 1880. He looks to be at least 70 yrs. old. On the back of the 2-1/2" x 4" picture is: "BORN 11-12-1810" and "father of Ada Sawyer Garrett, whose mother was Elizabeth B." He is a very distinguished looking gentleman. J. E. C. Sawyer's picture was taken in Albany (Albany) NY, in about 1890, and he looks to be about 50 years old. The picture is 4-1/4" x 6-1/2" and on the back is "Yours sincerely (and his signature". I enjoy buying lovely old pictures like these in antique shops and locating descendants/family members so that I can re-unite the pictures, for only my costs, with people who will treasure them.
