Sawyer is not one of my surnames but I am taking the time to post this in hopes that it may help someone else find what they are searching for. good luck to all in their searching. as it reads: THOMAS B. SAWYER Funeral services for Thomas B. Sawyer, 70, will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at J.F. Floyd Mortuary. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Sawyer died Friday at Spartanburg General Hospital following a long illness. Pallbearers will be Buck Matthews, Leonard and Clary Henderson, Otto and Lewis Sawyer and Charles Robertson. The body is at the mortuary.

I am looking for ancestors, siblings and descendants of Amos Sawyer and his wife, Susan, who were listed in the 1850 Pope County, IL, Census, along with a Jesse Robinson. Amos was 64 at the time and his wife Susan was listed as 55 yrs. Jesse was 50. I believe they had several children, but not sure of all their names. Maybe Ann, Eliza, William, John, George, Rhoda....
