Would you or anyone on this site have any details of military record of Harmon Sawyer during War of 1812. My 4th GG Father served under Harmon in the NY militia and I am looking for details about what action, if any, they saw. Thank you
I too am descended from Sawyers of Pasquotank Co. My gggrandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Sawyer born Aug. 2, 1838. Her father was William Beck Sawyer who moved from Pasquotank Co. to Lauderdale Co., TN (I believe sometime before 1850). Our family records have Charlotte Williams as her mother. Wm. Beck Sawyer's parents were Joel Sawyer and Rebecca Beck. Are any of these name familiar or perhaps found in the book about the Sawyers of Pasquotank. I would appreicate any information you might be able to share. Thanks.

Hi , Christine just to let you know i'm still searching.. Dennis
I am searching for a "Dolly" Sally Sawyer who married Alexander Perisho in 1819 in Tyrell Co., NC. She was born in the early 1800s we think. I found a possible parent, but I'm not sure. Can anyone verify, DennisSawyer asa her father or tell me who is. I also believe she has a sister Ams Sawyer also listed in a will for Dennis Sawyer. This will was listed in Tyrrell Co. on 26 Aug 1820. I also for a Dennis listed alone in 1810 census. I think she must have been born around 1810-1815. This is just a guess. If you have any information on these people, please contact me at [email protected] She would be my g-g-g-great grandmother. Please help. Thanks

I am specifically looking for any information about Nell Elizabeth Falin. All I know is that she was born November 30, 1929 in Clinchport, Virginia. I know her father was Lee Roy Falin and her mother, Maxie Sloan. She married and divorced a Falin and then married Arthur Sawyer in Ingham County MI on October 28, 1960. Nellie Sawyer's last known address was Cleveland, Ohio. I am trying to find out if she is still living or if she is deceased. Any other information about her ancestors past her parents would be greatly appreciated as well. I would also like information on Arthur Winfield Sawyer. He was bor 28 May 1908 and died 28 January 1980. His ssn was issued in KY and he died in Clinchport, VA. Anyone with any information on either of these people and their families - please email me. Thank you! Karen
Hi Gang, My hubbie's gr. grandfather John Sawyer who married Julia (Copp) in Green Co. Wis. came from Newport N.H. So wasn't connected with any Sawyers' from Canada. He descended from the first "William Sawyer" who arrived in Salem in 1642. Noni Sawyer
