SASSER were but don't look for them in Miller County, Ga. Walter was born in Early County, which adjoins Miller County. His father apparently died when Walter was young and his mother remarried to JAMES KELLY. In 1910, Walter and his sister "Kittie" (Catherine) were living with Jim in Early County. Most of the branch of the family from Early County are descendants of WILLIAM SASSER and RUSSIA (Rosa, Rucia) and their two sons. It is my GUESS (without any records to go on) that WALTER T. is a son of their son, WILLIAMDUNCAN SASSER. He was married twice, first to Mary Ann Penelope Alphadema ("Neppie") Douglas. They separated and he then married another lady whose name I don't know yet. I don't know all their children but they included a child, Pat Keaton who died at age 5 and a son MACK DANIEL, born 1883, died 1957 who had several children. I know all the children of William and Russia's other son, Daniel Wright Sr. so that leaves only William Duncan as a possibility. You need to check this out. Your cuz, Robert Earl Woodham
