To: the Sasser List From: Glenn E. Perry I am almost a year late with this obituary of my mother's brother, Raymond Taylor, a descendant of Henry Sasser and Nancy Kirby Sasser on two sides. His father was Claiborn Taylor, son of Isaac Taylor and Susan Sasser Taylor, daughter of Jesse Sasser, son of Henry Sasser and Nancy Kirby Sasser. His mother, Sarah Elizabeth Humfleet Taylor, was a daughter of Arthur Humfleet, son of William Humfleet and Piety Sasser Humfleet, daughter of Henry Sasser and Nancy Kirby Sasser. He and his brothers and sisters were born about halfway between the Sasser-Glass Cemetery and the Sasser-Dixon Cemetery, presumably on the land that once belonged to Henry Sasser.
