I have finally gotten my hands on the book "Sassers of Maryland" I have sent a copy off to GA to the Sasser Society. The book is more of a booklet of about 50+ pages, but it's full of Sasser genealogy dating back to the late 1600's early 1700's. I have tried to locate the author of the booklet and have had no luck. From what I can tell this booklet was written in 1964 and I wonder if the author is even still with us. I have talked with Florence Alta Moynihan, who is mentioned in the book as the daughter of Julia Isabelle "Sasser" Mortimer and she has given her permission as a Maryland Sasser to reproduce this book for people who are interested. I would be more than happy to copy the book and mail it to anyone who is interested, just send me $10.00 this will cover the cost of copying and postage.
