    3. Harrison Daily Times Lela Methvin 95 of St. Joe died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at the Marion County Nursing Home, Yellville. Funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Anderson Flat Community building with Rev. Paul Huskey officiating. Burial to follow in the Anderson Flat Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel, Harrison. Visitation is 6-8 p. m. at the funeral Home, Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bob Ahrens and Dr. Richard Ahrens. She was born Nov. 8, 1902, at St. Joe, a daughter of John William and Mary Ida Sasser Anderson. She was a member of Friendly Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Methvin; two sons, James R. and Ralph Lee "Cotton" Methvin; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by a son, Bob Methvin of Eros; four daughters, Ferval Vanzant of Selah, Wash., Joyce Markle of Yellville and Cwilla Shahan and Norma Jean Methvin of Anderson Flat; a brother, Floyd Anderson of Bruno; a sister, Norma Keeter of Yakima, Wash.; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Mary Ida Sasser was Joseph and Josephine Taylor Sasser's daughter.
