Charles (Charlie) W Sasser< Joseph Sasser< Eli Sasser Spavinaw, Okla., -Funeral service for Charlie Sasser, 71, Spavinaw, who died Sunday evening, Feb 23 at his home after a lengthy illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Free Will Baptist Church in Spavinaw, with the Rev. Bill Grass and the Rev. Richard Callison officiating. Burial will be in the Spavinaw Cemetery under the direction of the Lawson Funeral Home, Jay, Okla. Mr. Sassier was born Jan. 15 1904 Lewisville county KY., , and was a resident of Spavinaw 30 years. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the city of Tulsa. He married Iva Martin on Jan. 26, 1925. She survives. Also surviving are three son, Kenneth Sasser, Tulsa, Okla. Robert Sasser, Strang Okla., and Bobby Joe Sasser, Spavinaw; five daughters, Mrs Eldee Goin, Mrs Martha Harris, Mrs Pauline Satterwhite and Mrs Willa Dean Sisco, all of Spavinaw and Mrs Iva Lee Montgomery, Pryor, Okla.; a sister, Mrs Haley Hibbard, Spavinaw; 26 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren Published "The Daily Times, Pryor Okla.
