Ray, The only Sasser's that I know of in Knox Co. Ohio are: George Sasser (my father) b. Dec. 18, 1915 in Laurel Co., Ky. and Thelma (Dayberry) Sasser b. Aug. 13, 1925 They moved to Knox County (Mt. Vernon) in 1973 where they still reside. Mary Lou (Sasser) Montenery b. Feb 28, 1947 in Portsmouth, OH. (this is my sister) who lives in Mt. Vernon. Our family moved there in the early 70's when we bought our first pharmacy in Mt. Vernon. Elizabeth Sasser, widow of Robert E. Sasser, Jr. who was the son of Robert E. Sasser who was the brother of George Sasser. Both R.E. Sassers were born in Laurel County, Ky. and are descended from Taylor Sasser, son of James Buchanan Sasser, son of William Henry Crawford Sasser, son of Henry & Nancy (Kirby) Sasser, son of William and Martha (Bishop) Sasser of Johnston Co., NC I know of no Sassers in Licking Co.
