Hello, My grandmother's mother (ggrandmother) was Molcie or Mauseley Sasser from that area. My grandmother's name was Emily Bailey. They were from the Covington, Crenshaw and Coffee Co. area. Molcie Sasser married Jasper Miriam Bailey. Molcie was born 1853 and died 1900. I do not know anything about her family but there must be a connection somewhere with your Sasser.
