Mr. Sasser, the son of Maud Estep Sasser and the late Rev. Robert F. Sasser, Sr., died Saturday, May 31, 1997, from a heart atttack at his home in Phenix City, AL. He is survived by his mother; wife, Betty; two children, Eddie and Kathy; a brother, the Rev. John E. Sasser; three sisters, Kizzie Payton, Elizabeth Elmore and Romey Peavler. He was also the nephew o Martha Estep Brown and Rose Mary Estep McHargue of London. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Sasser, Jr."
