I talked to Melvin Sasser b. Abt 1925, who lives in Cheyenne, OK . Melvin's father was Marvin Lee Sasser b. 1902 in Elk City OK. Joseph Sasser is Melvin's grandfather and was from Tennessee. Marvin Lee Sasser had brothers 1. Henry Sasser 2. Monroe Sasser has a son Eldon Sasser who lives in Seattle WA. 3. Harvey Sasser 4. Dexter Sasser Sister's 1 Flora Sasser 2. Audi Sasser 3. Clara Sasser He has a family story that tells of several brothers coming over (from Germany) and settling in TN. They were in the Civil War, but doesn't know which side. Melvin started working on a farm in Western OK when he was 12 years old. He is now retired and his two sons help him on his farm. One son is Don Sasser ( not me). Does any one have any more information on these Sasser's?
