Hi, My name is Ellen and I am new to the Sasser list. I am looking forward to working with fellow Sasser researchers. While in Washington DC at the DAR library (I live in Baltimore) I found a small book, about 1/2 inch thick in a type of report binder. This book contained a wealth of information about the Sasscers of MARYLAND, the book tells of the family pre - Revolutionary War and how the family got to MD from Lousiana. It was a great find. I copied many of the pages as it pertained to the direct line I was researching. I thought for those of you who may not know of this book - that this might be exciting news, I know I was pretty excited when I found it.
