To all Henry Sasser Officianatos, A deed dated in 1815 puts Henry's property "on the sides of Poplar Branch". Anybody got a clue? Is this Poplar creek to the south of Buffalo Creek but north of the present U.S. Rt. 70? Has anyone determined the exact spot of either William or Henry's farms in Johnston Co.? It is interesting to note that Thomas and Jesse Kirby helped to do the survey. Y'all may have a copy of this deed already but if you don't, I can send you one. For the cause, Phil Sasser
