Hi everybody, I want to say that I am very fortunate to have found this group. I love the fact that I have no idea what the message is going to be about. Anyhow, I began searching my genealogy in February hoping to find the connection to my Cherokee heritage, but to my surprise I found the Sasser tribe instead. I was born in San Mateo, San Mateo County, CA June 22, 1965. I met my husband, Rene Morales, attending College of San Mateo in 1986. I moved to San Francisco in 1986 and have been here ever since. Rene and I got married on my birthday in 1990. I have studied Art, Photography, and just recently received an OA at the California Culinary Academy. Right now I am working on putting together a book of poetry and artwork, pieces I have done over the last six years. Hopefully I will get a scanner soon so I can send some images. Also, I have tons of great recipes if anybody needs something tried and true. My friend Erin calls me every once in a while to get consultation for her dinner parties. I hope to find out more info on the Sasser line, especially when my Aunt Carol moves to Arkansas, gets her computer, and joins our group. She will have alot more time then me. Maureen
