I have a copy of a document from the National Archives and Records Adm Textual reference Branch 7th and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington DC 204408 dated December 22,1874 " No record of enlistment, muster-in, or service, but it appears that he volunteered a Recruit March 26, 1863, and was admitted to Regimental Hospital April 15, 1863, and died April 19,1863 of Febris learegestive. His name has been taken up on the Recruit Roll of the 1st East Tenn Calvery in this office enlistment Muster in or service - but it appears that he volunteered as a recruit March 28/63 & was admitted to Regt'l Hospital April 15-63 and died April 15/63 of Febris Congestive Veile Sab. = 171=1870. See Sab. 171-1870-"no record of enlistment muster in or service"." Signed by ?? Burrell I have tried to type it as it appears on the Document.. Is this our Jesse Sasser ?
