Roger, You wrote recently that your grandfather was TEMPLE MARION SASSER and your great grandfather was WILLIAM RANSOM SASSER. I am missing the more recent generations on your direct family line so I can't make the connection. WILLIAM RANSOM (Ransom) was the son of WILLIAM SASSER and MARY ANN. I don't have the names of any of their children yet except your grandfather. I have a feeling that your grandfather TEMPLE was named for an older relative, TEMPLE SASSER, nicknamed ("Tipo"; "Teppo"), born in 1829 in Wayne County. Can you give me any dates for your grandfather; where is he buried and the names of all his children. Do you know the names of any of your grandfather's brothers and sisters?
