I am trying to create a Sasser Family National Library, where information of every type can be preserved on our family, including and especially obituaries. I have always considered these to be very important sources of information. A typical obituary can include the date and place of birth, names of parents, spouse, children, sisters and brothers and often names of grandchildren; occupation, clubs, church; and the place of death and burial. Find a good obituary and you have found a real gold mine of information.
