Rain and All. The cotton field where my little Brinson Cemetery is located was clear and had no mud puddles. However, Alex said that looks were deceiving and I would sink to my knees. So, guess I'll make another trip. I did locate the Little Buckhead Cemetery. I took as many photos of Brinson tombstones as I could locate. However, I did not see one for Adam and Mary Sheppard Brinson. It may be there as there were several that were smooth. I also have another ½ roll of film to get developed. I have Simeon and M.A. Brinson; J.P. and Nancy Brinson (no dates); Ralph H. Brinson; T.J. and Susanna Perkins Brinson; Annie Wallace Brinson; Josie Brinson Miller; Daniel C. and Junette Sasser Brinson; Nancy Brinson Ellison; Mary Elizabeth Brinson Griffin; Dora Alma Brinson; and Harlow A. Brinson; Also, have some from other cemeteries. I found Big Buckhead Church with a small cemetery across the road but didn't find any Brinsons. It only had about 5-6 graves but there may have been one behind the church. Didn't think to look there until after I left. Got a copy of bible record on Adam and Elizabeth Murphree Brinson that listed their dates of birth and marriage. Also their children. According the dobs, these are the ones buried in the cemetery in the cotton field. Copied a lot of "stuff" from the library and from Alex. Haven't digested all of it as yet. There is a copy of "Brinson Genealogy", compiled by C.D. Hollingsworth, Sylvania, GA, 1956. It has 48 pages and consists of a lot of records. If anyone is interested in what I have or copies of photos, let me know and I'l get it in the mail.
