    1. [SASSER-L] Smithey Sasser = Smithey Botkin???

    3. The questions about Smithey Sasser caught my eye... I have listed a Smithey Mae Botkin (b1-1-1849 Johnston Co. NC), the daughter of Martha Patsy Sasser (b 1-30-1823 d 12-21-1896) and Joseph E. Botkin (b9-18-1816 d 6-26-1895). She married a Samuel Young. I don't know the source yet as I am in the process of sorting through records that are over 20 years old. Hope this helps. If it does, let me know and I will look more diligently for the source of my information. -elaine helton lorinczi ==================================================== Date: Wed, 5 Aug 1998 17:13:37 -0700 From: "Denise (Kirkland) Smiley" <MDSMILEY@prodigy.net> To: SASSER-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <005c01bdc0cf$0fd013e0$23989cd1@default> Subject: Re: [SASSER-L] sasser family book Hi Patsy, I am sorry to say that I was not able to find any information in the book to a Smithey Sasser. The book is mainly on the descendent of Thomas and Clarisy Sasser in Screven Co., GA and the surrounding counties. Sorry that I was not able to provide you with any information. Have a good night and happy hunting.
