215 This indenture made this 23 day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and one Between William Sasser of Johnston County and State f North Carolina of the one part and Henry Sasser of the county and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Sasser for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred pounds ??? money to me in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivering of there presents and do hereby acknowledge myself fully satisfied hath given granted sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth absolutely grant Sell and confirm unto the said Henry Sasser his ???? and assign forever ??? or parcels of land all joined together the same lying and being in Johston County and State aforesaid by from different Grants the date of each grant and the quantity of land will farther appear the first oldest grant being taken out and bearing date October the twenty first day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Two beginning at a Black jack near the Road ???? thence North one Hundred and sixty poles to a pine at the head of the long branch. Thence along the West line to the Huckcle berry branch to a Maple a Corner agreed on in the principle line thence down the meandering of said Branch to the mouth to Buffallow Swamp and down the meanders if the Swamp to the other Principle to a turn in Swamp Thence South to a Maple a corner in the Garnet Thence East to the Beginning Containing One Hundred and twenty five acres more or less it being part of the grant. The second Grant also being ???? taken out of the Secretaries Office and bearing date November the Sixteenth day One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety lying on the side of Buffallow Swamp beginning at a black gum a corner on the Grant in Swamp ??? Thence South One hundred and sixteen poles to a stake in or near Jesse Kirbys line thence West along his south line thirty four poles to a fence his corner thence along the North line to the Swamp to a black gum in the principle line, Thence u[ the meanders of the Swamp to the Beginning. This also is only part of the grant containing One Hundred and ten Acres more of less. The third also being taken out of the Secretary Office and bearing date December the eighteenth day one Hundred Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine. Beginning at a pine and runs thence West Eighty poles to a stake thence along a the North line to Buffalow Swamp to a black gum a corner agreed on thence East to the Beginning Containing Fifty acres more or less this also in but part of the grant. The fourth being taken our of the Secretaries Office also and bearing a date December the Eighteenth day One Thousand and Seven hundred and Ninety nine. Beginning at a stake Abel Sassers corner thence South one hundred and eighty poles to a stake thence East Thirty Sic poles to a pine in James Rentfrows line thence with line North Sixty six pole to a pine thence with his other line East Ninety poles to a stake thence with his other line South Thirty four poles to a pine thence with his other line East forty five poles to James Browns Corner on a stake thence with Browns line North forty nine poles to a back jack in Michael Adams line. Thence with Adams line West one Hundred and forty five poles to a red Oak thence along his North line to a corner agreed on between Squire William Sasser and Noel Rentfrow in the Principle line thence along as agreed line to the beginning containing Fifty Acres more or less, this also being part of the grant on all Three Hundred and thirty five acres more or less to have and to hold the land and premises, H???? and app???????
