Dear Earl, I'm sending this to the whole list because I can't find your personal e-mail address in my files. Thanks a lot for the picture of Barton/Bardin & Phoebe/Pherby Sasser. As luck would have it, I have a copy of that very picture in a wonderful book of photographs called "Pioneers of Beech Creek" published a couple of years ago by a distant cousin named Harold Goins. I don't know where he got it, but it was in the book because Pherbe was Milton Jones' daughter by his first wife, & she and Barton lived on Beech Creek for several years before they moved to Laurel County. It's such a great picture. It looks like Grant Woods' "American Gothic." Anyway, I appreciate your sending it. Best, Vietta
