    3. Dear Cousins, If you have copies of records of ANY kind on our family, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send us xerox copies of these. For many years, I have been trying to create a Sasser Family National Library where records and copies of public documents of all types can be preserved for our family. With such a Family Library, future generations will not have to traipse all over the country looking for information about their ancestors. Instead, they can learn about their kinfolks from one central source about ALL of our family. Here are some of the types of records and documents I am trying to gather and preserve on ALL our family (including descendants): deeds land grants & homesteads marriage licenses marriage records (from family Bibles, church records, etc.) death certificates birth certificates estate records (court records of a person who left property) old letters family Bible records (include a copy of the title page with the year printed) wills military records (of all wars and of any kind; service records, discharge papers, newspaper articles, etc.) obituaries newspaper articles wedding notices (in newspapers, church bullitins) US and state census records cemetery records (tombstone inscriptions) funeral home records (most keep books of funerals with important info) published information (from books) If you have a copy of any such document or record on our family PLEASE make xerox copies of these and mail to me. If you have the information but don't have a copy of the original document, send the info (you can do this by email). Send this to me at: Robert Earl Woodham 1130 Celia Drive Columbus, Georgia 31907 The generations to come will thank you.
