Now THAT's the first good laugh I have had in weeks! Better than a whole bottle full of Tylenol. Thanks loads for the good feeling this gave me after all the headaches from the computer. I FINALLY got Packard Bell to admit they have to at least replace my Master CD. Contrary to all you who wrote me, I went ahead and did what the company told me to and "reformated" my hard drive. It wiped out all my programs and their Master CD did not restore ANY of them. I was using Word97 to write the new webpage site as well as word processing; and Works for its database (family indexes, etc.). Now, I can't look up anyone in the Index until I can get Packard Bell to either replace this computer or restore the programs. Up until a few moments ago, they kept refusing to admit any responsibility for any software problems. Maybe I will be "back up" in six months ??? NEVER buy a Packard Bell product. You are forewarned!
