    3. To: the Sasser list (especially descendants of Nancy Kirby Sasser) From: Glenn E. Perry Have all of you had access to the material on the Kirby list? It is all very confusing, but there is a lot of it. I have not made any clear connection of Nancy and her father Jesse to the many other Kirbys, but I keep thinking I may be getting close. For example, the Kirby site (the last one mentioned below) summarizes a lot of more detailed matierial I have already seen going back to England.. The name Jesse Kirby (b. 1757) occurs, but I am not sure that this is the Jesse we are looking for. I gather that that was a common name among the Kirbys. Also, the GENWEB site has a lot of interesting material on Laurel County (much more than on Knox County). You can find a map showing Blackwater Creek etc.. Also: information on cemeteries, not including Sasser-Glass and Sasser-Dixon. Some are listed as being at Blackwater that are not on Blackwater Creek (although that might be (or have been) the postal address. ------- Forwarded Message Follows -------Date: Tue, 24 Mar 1998 18:29:33 -0500 From: JOE <ejf@aye.net> To: KIRBY-KERBY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KIRBY-KERBY-L] My Pig OUT!!!!!!
