To: Patsy, Sorry about that! I thought I did send it to you, but the e-mail messages are going south sometimes. There are lots of things I send to the Sasser-List and they don't go through so I send them twice. Two times my e-mail address came off the list. I sent a message to Don and he was complexed about it as he said, He doesn't understand how this happens. He is the only one who can subscribe and unsubscribe members. And he will get a copy of anyone's e-mail when they subscribe and or unsubscribe themselves. He said he never received one request from me to remove my name from the list. Yet two times my name was removed. I wrote about the page number and the book in one of my many long winded message and I know that many people on the list delete them without reading them and that is O.K.. If one person reads them that is O.K. with me. Almost a year ago a lady wrote in to the list and said that there is to much garbage on the list and she wanted Don to remove her name from the list. She said she did not have time to read all this stuff. Don wrote us all back saying he thinks it is alright for anything to be put on the list as long as it pertains to genealogy or a thank you note for info. Some of the lists like the Irish List people are at each other all the time so I got off that one. "You Americans are this, that or the other." And that would be countered with, "Oh you Irish are this, that or the other." The British List are like that as well. Don runs this list and I think he is doing a great job. Kudos to Don! An another long winded message, so I'll get to it. The book was, "The Heritage of Lenoir County 1981." The page was #6 top left in parentheses (A complete list is in the appendix) is what it said. Again Patsy thanks for the help. [I think I will CC: a copy to the list because some others may be having trouble with e-mailings from the list] Cordially, Earl Sasser ewsass@writeme.com
