Jim Smith states that the daughter of Barden Sasser, Elizabeth Sasser b: 1847 who married Thomas Smith had a son named William who married Sarah Gilbert in 1886. My records show that William Smith had two wives, 1st wife Elsie Cobb, 2nd wife Ester Tayler.Which is correct? Also did Elizabeth Sasser and Thomas Smith have a child named Mary? I am trying to trace the parents of Mary Smith who married Bill Hammock in Laural County, Kentucky and moved to Wallowa County Oregon in 1903 with my Great Grandfather Abraham H.
