My great grandfather was John Wesley Sasser, b: 10-5-1856, married Elizabeth Taylor somewhere in Arkansas. She died and is buried in Kaypark, Ar. He then married my great-grandmother, Amanda Self, b: 3-20-1871. They were married in Boxley, Newton Co., Ar. on 9-4-1892. My grandmother, Josephine Jarilda Sasser was born to them on 11-11-1893. They moved to the Sallisaw, Ok. area in the early 1900's. Amanda died on 9-12-12 or 1914. John Wesley Sasser died on 5-6-1933. They are both buried in the Brent Cemetery a few miles south of Sallisaw. Please let me know if you find any connection.
