Dear Sapp Cousins, According "A History of the Sapp Family," compiled and published by J. Gooden Sapp and H. W. Stanley, 1910, A Line, pg. 12: Daniel, son of Henry Sapp settled in Kentucky, but of his descendants we have no record." I believe that this may be my Daniel SAPP who settled in Fleming Co., in Northeastern KY around 1800. It is probable that his wife's name was Barbary. Their known children included: Daniel Peter Jacob Isaac Elizabeth Jonathan Joseph Isaac is my 3rd great-grandfather. He was born August 1806 in KY. Does anyone have any further info that would prove (or disprove) the connection between my Daniel and this Henry SAPP, "ancestor of the Ravenna, Ohio, line". By the way, I recently saw a posting from someone researching an Isaac SAPP related to this line. There is an 1808 Fleming Co., KY deed from a FOWLER to an Isaac SAPP. My Isaac would be too young at this time to purchase land, and the deed is straight-forward--no guardianships, etc. I guess its possible that this Isaac SAPP is the Isaac SAPP listed as brother to the Daniel SAPP and son of Henry SAPP. Any information will be appreciated and I'll share what I have.
