I don't have any proof that he was the son of John Sapp, just speculation. He is supposed to have been one of the several brothers that received Crown Grants in GA about 1766. I would have to guess that John was in the US Militia of some type, I can't prove that he was even in the Military, just a family group sheet with that info on it, not proven, just stated.
