Hi Serena, Just took a look at my version of the John Sapp/Abbie Willis descendants and find that we are in substantial agreement. I can see you've done quite a bit of research and appreciate the notes you've provided. Most of my information for this particular branch comes from the Sapp/Stanley "A History of the Sapp Family". From the look of your data, you must have either had access to it, or to some other source which depended on it. Sapp/Stanley gives no sources so I feel everything they say needs to be independently verified. What verification I've been able to do shows it to be fairly complete as far as it goes (up to about 1910), and reasonably accurate. Since my own line comes from John Sapp's first family with his first wife Hettie Barcus, I haven't spent too much time with Abbie's family. That said, I'll point out the few areas of minor divergence from Sapp/Stanley and fill in a couple of other minor details I've found in delving through microfilms. 1) John Sapp and Abigail Willis were married on 29 Aug 1821. This comes from the marriage record on page 236 in the Jefferson Co. probate court marriage records as recorded on LDS film #0900072. 2) Elias L. Thomas b. 5 Oct 1821, d. 23 June 1886. (Sapp/Stanley) 3) Henry B. Thomas, b. 30 Nov 1850. (Sapp/Stanley) 4) Sarepta Annie Pool b. 20 Nov 1852 according to Sapp/Stanley. Your information looks more credible. 5) Sapp/Stanley lists six children for John R. Sapp and Sarepta Pool: Charles A. Sapp, b. 24 Apr 1879, resided near Toronto, OH Ross Wilbur Sapp, b. 19 May 1880, m. Anna (?) 11 Nov 1908 Loyd L. Sapp, b. 14 Jul 1881, resided at Toronto, OH John Edgar Sapp, b. 9 Dec 1882, m. Elma J. Wiles 9 Dec 1909, resided in Toronto, OH Elbert L. Sapp, b. 13 Sep 1893, resided with parents until around 1910 (twin) Joseph M. Sapp, b. 13 Sep 1893, resided with parents until around 1910 (twin) 6) Sapp/Stanley lists one child for George C. Sapp and Catherine Herald: Nancy I. Sapp, b. 21 Jul 1888 7) Sapp/Stanley lists one child for James Sylvester Sapp and Belle Johnston: Elizabeth J. Sapp, b. 20 Mar 1881, m. Orville S. Wilson. 8) Ruth Ann Sapp and John Crawford were married 1 Jul 1847 in Jefferson County. This comes from the marriage records, vol. 6 on page 203 in the Jefferson Co. probate court marriage records as recorded on LDS film #0900073. 9) James William Crawford, b. 30 May 1850. (Sapp/Stanley) 10) Josiah J. Crawford resided in Knoxville prior to 1910. (Sapp/Stanley) 11) Daniel Sapp, b. 13 Sep 1830, d. Feb 1856 in California. 12) Sapp/Stanley lists four children for Laura Estella Sapp and Grant Eggleston: Robert Eggleston William Eggleston Nelson Eggleston Cynthia Ann Eggleston 13) Sapp/Stanley gives two middle names in two different places for Hiram Sapp: Edward and Edwin.
