    3. Cited from Huxford's Pioneers of the Wiregrass: Enoch Sapp 1790-1867 son of Levi Sapp RS He grew up in Montgomery and Tattnall counties, and was married in Telfair Co. Feb 14, 1828 to Ruthy Barrow b. 1810 d. 1885 in Telfair d/o Joseph Barrow. The latter about 1830-35, followed his son, Joshua to Thomas County. Sarah Jane Solomon Feb 15, 1874 Enoch Sapp lived in the portion of Telfair So. of the Ocmulgee River (Coffee Co.) about 10 years after his marriage then moved to the 6th dist. of Ware Co. living there until cut into Clinch co. 1850 and into Coffee Co. in 1854. Jr. b. 1850 Flournoy b. 1855 Green Berry b. 1855 Vernon G. b. 1858 This volumne listed unknown for the spouses listed above. Mr. Sapp served as Justice of Appling Inferior Court, 1851-1854; clerk of the Superior and Inferior Courts of Applings 1854-1856; and again as Justice of Inferior Court 1857-1863. He also served as County treasurer 1862-1864. In 1867 or 1868 Mr. Sapp moved with his wife an dunmarried children to Bradford C. FL where his brother Henry had moved about 20 yrs earlier. D. July 24, 1883 will dated Mary 27, 1866 executed in Aplling Co. was probated in Bradford Co. Dec 1883 and bequeathed his estate to his wife and 10 children. Executors were WW Sap and JG Ritch brother in Law. The son Green was appointed administrator. Record is found in Tattnall Co. a gift of certain personal property made Nov 29, 1826 by Darling Sapp to his wife Sarah specifying that th4e property after her death was to go their two youngest sons, Henry and Bartley Washington --Deed Book A. p. 318 SAPP, Henry 1812 - June 12, 1872 Henry Sapp b. Liberty Co. s/o Darling Sapp RS and Sarah Ritch/Rich m. Mary Ann Dyess d/o John Dyess Jr of Tattnall and gd/o John Dyess RS and Lucy formerly of Barnwell Dist. SC Sarah Ann b. 1840 m. E.N. Adams John Dyess b. 1843 d. unmarried 1864 Mary Ann b. 1846 m. EA Adkins Benjamin b. 1849 m. unknown Susannah b. 1852 m. WD Adams Lucy Ann b. 1854 m. SN Johns Family moved from Appling to New River, Columbia Co. FL about 1858 later renamed Bradford Co. FL His hompe was 120 acres in Section 11 township 6 Range 20 Bradford Co. Henry's brother BW was named administrator Aug 7, 1872. Henry also owned 1/2 interest in a steam engine, two cotton gins, sugar mill, and other property.
