To: Betty Taylor Harrison I don't really believe that this connection will directly help, but may give you a lead to work with. My 4 great grandfather Archibald C. Spears married Elizabeth Remillicent Sapp in Twiggs County Georgia in about 1794. Elizabeth Remillicent Sapp's parents were Henry Sapp born abt 1746 and Remillicent Unknown born abt 1736. They both died on same day, 29 October 1829, in Twiggs County, Georgia. I have no info on any other children born by them. That could have been where your line came from. Archibald and Elizabeth Remillicent had four children, all believe to have been born in Bibb/Twiggs Counties Georgia. Those children were: Elizabeth born 17 September 1797; Henry W. born 7 January 1801; Patience born 1804 and Archibald C. II, born 1807. Archibald C. II & Elizabeth Nelson married in Twiggs County on 27 January 1827. They and their first 2 born children moved to Stewart County in about 1831 and lived in that county until after 1850. Could it have been that their migration to Stewart County was accompanied by their Aunts and Uncles from the Sapp family? May be a long shot - let me know if you check it out somehow, and what you find out. Herschell & Betty Spears hebe@peoplescom.net
