She was married to William Sanford probably about 1843 or 1844. Their children were Sarah Adaline b. 1845, James b.1846, John b. 1848, Betsy Ann, b.1849, Emily b. 1855, and William b. 1857. I believe William Sr. died sometime between 1857 and 1860 and she may have remarried. I found the family in the 1860 but not the 1870 census. They lived in Middletown. Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? Sarah Adaline was married in about 1864 to William Dimmick. Betsy died in 1894 and in 1880 Emily was living with William and Sarah Dimmick.
