I have been going crazy searching for any background on these folks, maybe someone new has a link. Robert Sanford m Sarah Clark in Loudoun Co., VA 1801, daughter Mahalla born in 1802. Mahalla married a Stacey Lacey in Loudoun 1817. They moved to Licking Co., Oh 1828-30 and settled down. The Sanfords were buried in St John's Lutheran Cem, in Franklin Twp. I have searched in Loudoun records for Robert & Sarah's marriage and it has not turned up, perhaps they were from elsewhere in VA. If anyone has a Robert & Sarah in their line let me know. It's hard to believe that they had only one daughter. Stacey may have been a circuit rider, Methodist, can't confirm that. Barbara
