I am a descendant of Robert and Ann (---) Sanford of Hartford, CT. Robert died in 1676, and was previously thought to have married Ann Adams, though this has been proven wrong. I recently found a website that purports to identify Robert's parents and ancestors (his father supposedly being one Ezekial Sanford of Co. Essex, England), and these include an amazing group of gentry in Cheshire, Shropshire and Essex. I had never before seen any information on Robert's parentage, and am interested in tracking down the source of this information. The website owner said he traced it to an Annie Sanford of Carmel, CA who submitted it to the LDS. I am interested in the sources she relied on in putting together this information.
