Before getting into the Sarah mystery...the Emigrants were Thomas Sanford and his brother Andrew (along with a couple of other siblings). They were two different people. (See Carlton Sanford's book). Sarah's name wasn't wife, she WAS Thomas's wife. Every time I see a last name given for Sarah or Dorothy (if she existed) and ask for documentation, I never get an answer. Be very careful of accepting any wife for Thomas unless they show the evidence. And if you do get it...please post it to the list.
