Caswell Polk SANFORD, Sr., was born ca 1778 allegedly somewhere in NC. I have learned that there is a community called Polk within Caswell County, NC. That struck me as interesting. Can anyone affirm whether there were SANFORD's in that part of NC duing the mid to late 1700's? I need to establish the names of Caswell's parents as well as any siblings. David
