Hello, to my many SANFORD family Cousins, who are descendants of 'Thomas SANFORD, the immigrant' (1807-1681). I have now received records from over 250 cousins who have shared their own line of ancestry, from 'Thomas Sanford #1' at least the direct line down to themselves (the living cousins). All of them have E-mail and have shared that E-address, some of them have a 'web site', or a page on a genealogy site. Recently I have tried to contact some of them, and the message came back as 'undeliverable' for some reason. Please contact me again IF your E-mail address has been changed for some reason since our last contact. Hi John, I have not been able to link my "family" definitely with Thomas SANFORD. I have looked at the "big books" with no luck, but I hope it's just because it the collection may not be complete. William Sanford, b @1813 died 1 Nov 1882 East Haven, CT He married on 22 Feb 1835 in Plymouth, CT Mary Elizabeth TODD Mary Eliz. TODD b. @1816 and died 23 Oct 1897 in East Haven, CT At least they are both buried in East Haven, CT. These people are my 3-great grandparents. I recently sent for the death certificates of both of the above. It is possible that William's parents are John SANFORD and Polly HOUGH. If so, I have birth information on Polly....born in Plymouth, CT late 1700's..Would have to look that up. I hope the death certificates will provide parents' information. If your database happens to have this information in it, and there is a Thomas SANFORD connection, then I would be glad to give you information on descendants! At least what I have.
